The College of Education conducted an orientation to its Freshmen on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the EdTech Center.

Dr. Nehema K. Misola, VP for Admin and Finance and at the same time a faculty member of the College of Education, encouraged the students to make their studies as their priority. She explained to them the importance of studying hard especially that in a couple of years, these students will become teachers.

On the other hand, Dr. Carmelo V. Ambut, the OIC to the Ofiice of the President, stressed that they should follow four main goals in their life now that they are in WVCST and these are: to study, graduate, pass the board exam and lastly to aim high and become successful like their mentors.

During the orientation, Dr. John Eric V. Juaneza introduced the members of the faculty. He also showed significant figures and data regarding the result of last year’s Licensure Exam for Teachers. In addition, he emphasized the substantial effect of the LET results to the image and credibility of the school since WVCST was recently acclaimed as one of the best schools for teachers after the College end up no. 8 in the nationwide result for LET. With this, he advised the freshmen that the College of Education expects a lot from them to study hard and give pride and honor to the school.
